Hi, everybody;

Is there any BPEL engine that implemented and/or used in python/zope? or
more generally, how necessary is to use Business Process Modeling
concept in an ERP system?

I know that BPEL specifications encourages that things like WSDL and
SOAP first to be exist, but now I'm concerning about using them in Zope
3 framework rather than current Zope.

Probably these kind of questions have some kind of buzzword, specially
when asked by a newb!

TIA

What I can say is that
- ERP5 is business process based
- ERP5 uses and extends Zope / CMF workflow engine (DC Workflow)
- ERP5 also includes flow diagrams to model supply chains
- some ERP5 projects use WSDL and SOAP to interface to complex systems

So, I think ERP5 can be used definitely as a business process modeling
framework.

Reegards,

JPS.
